The Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover Heavy is a two-layer thermal barrier built for sustained fire. The outer layer is DuPont Kevlar rated to 1000 degrees F, which BPG equates to roughly 180 rounds of M855 on full auto. Inside that sits a fiberglass mesh sleeve liner rated to 2000 degrees F. Together, they handle the heat that unprotected hands, gear, and vehicles cannot.
The cover is intentionally sized 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor it fits. That extra length lets the material cinch around both the front and rear of the can, holding position without slipping under recoil or repeated handling. This 9 inch by 1.5 inch variant is sized to match accordingly. Verify that your suppressor's outer diameter and length are compatible before ordering.

What is the tradeoff with the Heavy cover versus a lighter option?
The added thermal mass of the two-layer construction means more bulk and weight compared to a standard cover. If heat management under sustained fire is the priority, that tradeoff is worthwhile. For occasional use or weight-critical builds, a lighter cover may be sufficient.
