The Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover Heavy is built around a two-layer thermal system. The outer shell is DuPont Kevlar rated to 1,000 degrees F, which BPG equates to roughly 180 rounds of M855 on full auto. The inner liner is fiberglass mesh sleeving rated to 2,000 degrees F, handling the heat closest to the can where temperatures peak hardest.
The cover is sized 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor it fits. That extra length lets the material cinch around both the front and rear of the can, eliminating the slippage that plagues covers cut flush to the suppressor body. At 5.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter, verify this sizing against your suppressor before ordering.
