Description
The Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover Heavy is built to protect your hands, gear, and anything else near a hot suppressor after sustained fire. The cover is intentionally sized 0.5" longer than the suppressor itself, so the excess material cinches around the front and rear of the can, keeping it locked in place without any hardware or straps.
The outer layer is DuPont Kevlar, rated to a maximum operating temperature of 1000°F, which Burn Proof Gear equates to approximately 180 rounds of M855 in full-auto fire. Inside that is a fiberglass mesh sleeve liner rated to 2000°F. The two-layer construction addresses both the radiant heat reaching your hands and the direct contact heat at the suppressor surface.

What is the 0.5" oversize for?
The extra length allows the cover to wrap and cinch around both ends of the suppressor. This creates a no-slip fit without relying on clips or hardware that could work loose under heat or heavy use.
Will this fit my suppressor?
This cover is 8" long with a 1.5" diameter. Verify your suppressor's outer diameter and length before ordering. The cinch design provides some accommodation at the ends, but fitment depends on your can's dimensions.
