The Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover Heavy is built around a two-material system. The outer layer is DuPont Kevlar, rated to 1,000 degrees F, which BPG equates to roughly 180 rounds of M855 fired full auto. Inside that sits a fiberglass mesh sleeve liner rated to 2,000 degrees F. The liner handles the direct heat off the can; the Kevlar outer handles abrasion and secondary heat.
The cover is intentionally sized 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor it fits. That extra length allows the ends to cinch around the front and rear of the can, locking the cover in place without hardware or adhesive. This is the no-slip fit BPG is building toward. If the cover fits flush end to end, it will walk.
This listing is the 8.5" x 1.5" variant in Black. Verify your suppressor's outer diameter and length before ordering. The cover should measure approximately 0.5" longer than your suppressor body for the fit to work as designed.

Is the heavy cover necessary over the standard version?
The Heavy adds the fiberglass inner liner rated to 2,000°F. If you are running sustained or full-auto fire, the dual-layer system gives the cover more thermal headroom than a single-material design.
