Description
DURAMAG's 20-round stainless steel magazine is built for AR rifles chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Stainless steel construction holds geometry under load and across temperature extremes where polymer magazines have historically softened, warped, or become brittle. If your use case includes long-term storage, cold environments, or sustained round counts, the material choice matters.
- 20-round capacity
- Stainless steel body, black finish
- Orange anti-tilt AGF follower for consistent round presentation
- Everflex spring
- Fits AR-platform rifles chambered in .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO
The orange anti-tilt follower is there to keep rounds aligned through the feed cycle and prevent the nose-dive and tilt that causes failures. The Everflex spring is designed to maintain consistent tension through full capacity and over time in storage.
The 20-round form factor runs shorter than a standard 30-rounder, which can be useful for prone work or vehicle use where a shorter profile reduces snag and ground clearance issues. The tradeoff is ten fewer rounds before a reload.
Will this fit my AR-pattern rifle?
This magazine is designed for AR-platform rifles in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Verify your specific rifle's magazine compatibility before ordering if you are running a non-standard lower.
