Description
The PMAG 40 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 40-round polymer magazine chambered for 5.56x45 NATO and .223 Remington. It is built to exceed military performance specifications using updated material technology and manufacturing processes that improve on previous PMAG generations in strength, durability, and reliability.
Geometry is modified both internally and externally relative to earlier PMAG designs. It is optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms and also supports operation with the HK 416, MR556A1, M27 IAR, British SA-80, and FN SCAR MK 16/16S, among others. Verify fitment before running it in a less common platform.

What is the tradeoff of a 40-round magazine over a standard 30-round?
The additional 10 rounds add length and weight. Prone shooting and certain chest rigs designed around 30-round magazines may require adjustment. Confirm your rig accommodates the longer body before fielding it.
