Description
The Odin Works Mirage Suppressor Cover is a three-layer construction designed to manage heat during sustained fire and reduce mirage interference in the shooter's optic. At 5.5 inches long, it fits over the suppressor body and stays there. The dual-fastening system resists sliding under rifle recoil without requiring any tools to install or remove.
Construction works from the inside out. The innermost layer is Nomex, the same non-melting, heat-resistant material used in firefighter suits. The middle layer is heat-absorbing carbon felt. The exterior is Cordura 1000. Each layer has a distinct job: the Nomex protects the cover itself from direct heat, the carbon felt absorbs and disperses it, and the Cordura takes the external abuse. Made in the USA.

What problem does a mirage cover actually solve?
A hot suppressor radiates heat shimmer directly in front of your optic, distorting your sight picture. The cover reduces that thermal bloom. It also keeps you from contacting a hot can during manipulation.
