Description
The Dead Air KeyMo Flash Hider (DA301) is the purpose-built QD mount for the Sandman suppressor series. It threads on at 1/2x28 and runs 2.7 inches in length. The significant design detail here is the mass-shifted, equal-length tines. That geometry eliminates the harmonic ping that conventional flash hiders produce when a suppressor is mounted and the weapon is fired. If you run a Sandman and your current muzzle device rings, this is the fix.
The patent-pending tine design is specific to Dead Air's mounting system, so this is not a universal QD host. It is built for the KeyMo interface on Sandman cans. Backed by Dead Air's lifetime warranty.
