Description
The SureFire X300V-B puts white light and infrared output in a single sealed unit. The 350-lumen tactical beam runs through SureFire's TIR lens and is built to temporarily overwhelm dark-adapted vision while providing enough surround light to maintain peripheral awareness. The 120-milliwatt IR beam is invisible to the naked eye and requires no IR filter, which keeps the setup simple when running night vision devices on stealth operations.
Switching between white light and IR is done via a no-look, self-locking selector ring. The Z-XBC push/toggle switch handles activation. Both LEDs are rated as virtually indestructible and the assembly is recoil-proof, so reliability under sustained fire is not a concern.
The T-slot thumbscrew clamp mounts to either a pistol or long gun via Universal or Picatinny rail. No tools, no adapter plates for most applications. Verify fitment with your specific host before ordering.

What is the tradeoff of combining white light and IR in one unit?
A dual-output unit adds some bulk compared to a dedicated white-light-only light. If you run white light only and have no intention of using night vision, a single-output light will be more compact for the same lumen output.
