Description
The DS-SR07 is a waterproof tail cap and switch assembly built for the SureFire M6XX Scout Light series. It is not compatible with the Micro Scout Light Pro. The assembly ships with an SR07 rail tape switch included.
The tail cap houses an integrated click-on/off pushbutton and a system disable feature. The two-piece, O-ring sealed housing swivels to let you position the integrated switch where it needs to be for your setup. The plug-in SR07 tape switch adds a 7-inch remote run with both momentary-on pressure pad and click-on/off capability at the tape.
The integrated tail cap switch and the remote tape switch operate independently. If one fails or becomes inaccessible, the other still functions. That redundancy is the core reason to run this assembly over a simpler single-switch option.

Does this replace the existing tail cap on my Scout Light?
Yes. The DS-SR07 is a complete tail cap and switch assembly. It replaces the standard tail cap on compatible M6XX Scout Lights and adds the remote SR07 tape switch as a plug-in secondary control.
Will this work on the Micro Scout Light Pro?
No. SureFire explicitly excludes the Micro Scout Light Pro from compatibility. Verify your specific Scout Light variant before ordering.
