Description

The Magpul AFG1 addresses a real problem with conventional vertical foregrips: they position the hand low and away from the bore axis, which works against natural wrist mechanics and increases felt recoil. The AFG1 angles the shooter's hand high on the centerline of the bore instead. That positioning works with the body rather than against it, reducing fatigue over longer engagements and tightening control during follow-up shots.

The grip mounts to any standard M1913 Picatinny rail and ships with all required mounting hardware. Construction is a three-piece polymer design with an interchangeable finger shelf, so the interface can be adjusted to fit the shooter's hand. Available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, and Olive Drab Green.

  • Polymer three-piece construction with interchangeable finger shelf
  • Mounts to M1913 Picatinny rail
  • All mounting hardware included
  • Available in Black (MAG411-BLK), Flat Dark Earth (MAG411-FDE), and Olive Drab Green (MAG411-ODG)

Does the AFG1 work on M-LOK or KeyMod handguards?
The AFG1 mounts directly to M1913 Picatinny rail. For M-LOK or KeyMod handguards, a Picatinny rail section would be required. Verify your handguard configuration before ordering.

Is the AFG1 legal under the NFA?
Angled foregrips are generally treated differently than vertical foregrips under federal guidance, but regulations vary by jurisdiction and platform. Confirm compliance with applicable local and federal law before installing.
