The Holosun AEMS Macro is an enclosed pistol optic built around a 0.9 x 0.9 inch viewing window, which is large for the category and addresses one of the core complaints about enclosed emitter designs: finding the window under stress. The housing is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish. It mounts on the 509T footprint, so it drops onto any slide or adapter plate cut for that pattern. The Multi-Reticle System gives you a 2 MOA dot alone or a 2 MOA dot inside a 32 MOA circle. The circle is useful for close, fast work. The dot is cleaner for distance. You switch between them as needed. Available in red, green, or gold reticle. Green and gold offer faster visual pickup in high-ambient-light environments for shooters who find red harder to pick up in those conditions.

What is the solar failsafe?
The optic uses a solar cell to supplement or take over power when ambient light is sufficient. If the battery dies in daylight, the reticle stays on. It does not function as a passive reticle in zero-light conditions without battery power.
What does the lockout mode do?
Lockout mode prevents accidental brightness or mode changes from button presses during carry or storage. Shake Awake memory means the optic returns to your last brightness setting when it wakes.
Is this optic compatible with my pistol?
The AEMS Macro uses the 509T footprint. Confirm your slide or adapter plate is cut for that footprint before purchasing.
