Description
The VLTOR SP-A5 packages the core components of VLTOR's patented A5 buffer system into a single kit. It includes a standard weight A5 buffer at 5.3 oz, an A5 buffer spring, a VLTOR lock plate, and a VLTOR castle nut. The one item not included is the A5 receiver extension tube itself, which must be purchased separately.
The A5 system uses physically different buffer and spring dimensions than standard carbine or rifle buffer systems. These components are not interchangeable with mil-spec carbine or rifle hardware. Mixing A5 components with standard components can cause malfunctions or damage. This kit is only compatible with VLTOR A5 receiver extensions. Verify your tube before ordering.

Can I use this kit with my standard carbine or rifle buffer tube?
No. A5 buffer components have different physical dimensions than standard carbine or rifle components. The SP-A5 kit requires a VLTOR A5 receiver extension tube. Attempting to mix systems risks damage to the firearm or injury to the shooter.
Is the receiver extension tube included?
No. The SP-A5 kit contains the buffer, spring, end plate, and castle nut only. The A5 receiver extension tube is a separate purchase.
