The DT-PR is Magpul's precision-oriented variant in the DT carbine stock lineup. It fits AR-15 platforms running a mil-spec buffer tube. The defining feature is a bag rider built into the stock profile, designed to anchor the rifle on squeeze bags for stable, repeatable precision shots. That same stock functions without compromise as a standard tactical platform when you're moving.
The DT system centers on Magpul's patent-pending Dual Tension cartridge. The mechanism removes play between the stock and buffer tube across length-of-pull positions, eliminating the slop and rattle common to standard carbine stocks. The cheekweld surface is designed so it does not pull facial hair on contact.
