The InfiTac BC01 Li-ion Battery Charger Kit solves the one recurring cost of running the Fast Mini FMP13: batteries. The FMP13 runs on CR2 cells and gets roughly five hours per set, and CR2 primaries aren't cheap or easy to find in a pinch. This kit gives you two 600mAh rechargeable CR2 batteries and a dual-channel charger, so you charge them up and stop buying disposables. Rated for 300+ charge cycles, it pays for itself quickly if you actually use your thermal.
The charger handles two batteries at once with independent channels, so you can charge one or two cells simultaneously, even mixed types. It takes 3.7V Li-ion cells including CR2 and 16340, which means it does double duty for other gear that uses 16340s. LED indicators tell you where you stand at a glance: red while charging, green when full, flashing red if something's wrong. It runs on 100–240V AC input, so it works anywhere in the world with the right plug adapter, and it's compact enough to travel with.
One honest note worth knowing. These rechargeable Li-ion CR2 cells run at 3.7V, where standard CR2 primaries are 3V. They're designed for the FMP13, so that's fine here, but they're not a shelf-stable replacement for primaries in the way a lithium primary is. Rechargeables self-discharge over time in storage. If your FMP13 lives in a go-bag or a truck for months at a stretch, keep a couple of primary CR2s tucked in the case as backup, and use the rechargeables for regular range and field use where you can top them off.
