Description
The Geissele G2S is the cost-effective entry point into Geissele's two-stage trigger lineup. It was built specifically as a lower-cost alternative to the SSA without sacrificing the material quality or the fundamental feel that makes the SSA worth running. The G2S is machined from the same tool steel as the SSA, and from the outside of the rifle there is no visual difference between the two.
The pull is non-adjustable, with a 2.5 lb first stage and a 2.0 lb second stage for a 4.5 lb total pull weight. That two-stage design gives you a clear take-up and a defined wall, which supports accurate shot calling under pressure without requiring a light single-stage that punishes a poor trigger press.

Where the G2S differs from the SSA: the hammer pin retention method is different, there are no laser markings on the components, and parts are spot-checked for magnetic particle (MP) inspection rather than fully certified. None of that affects the feel or reliability in service, but it is worth knowing if full MP certification matters for your application.
