Description
The Ergo SUREGRIP Tactical Deluxe OS is the standard Tactical Deluxe grip geometry shifted 5 degrees more vertical. That change moves the wrist into a straighter alignment with the bore, which reduces felt recoil torque and keeps the trigger finger more perpendicular to the trigger face. The beaver tail is thinner than the standard Tactical Deluxe (4045), which suits shooters who find the original profile too bulky at the grip tang. Palm swells are present on both sides, so left- and right-handed shooters get the same hand-filling support without modification.
The overmolded SUREGRIP surface uses a heavy rubber texture that holds through wet or gloved conditions without relying on aggressive checkering that wears out sleeves and gear over time.
- Fits AR-15 type firearms natively
- Requires Ergo Grip Spacer for AR-10 platform use
- 5-degree more vertical angle versus standard Tactical Deluxe
- Thinner beaver tail than the 4045
- Overmolded SUREGRIP material with heavy rubber texture
- Ambidextrous palm swell
Will this fit an AR-10 or LR-308 pattern rifle?
Not directly. An Ergo Grip Spacer is required for AR-10 platform use. Verify spacer availability before ordering for that application.
How does this differ from the standard Ergo Tactical Deluxe (4045)?
The OS version adds 5 degrees of vertical angle and uses a thinner beaver tail. The palm swell geometry is otherwise the same between the two models.
