Important Compatibility Note

The UV-PRO does not use a standard K1 plug. If you want to use common Kenwood 2-pin (K1) accessories—like speaker mics, PTTs, or earpieces—you’ll need the dedicated adapter designed specifically for this radio platform.

To connect any K1 accessory, use the GMRS-PRO/UV-PRO K1 Adapter Cable. This allows seamless integration with your existing K1 gear, expanding your comms options without needing to change accessories.

This adapter is essential if you're running a tactical headset, using APRS-K1 data cables, or want to run external PTTs or speaker mics from your UV-PRO.
